Zone Laser Tag is continuing to roll out new improvements for Helios3, helping operators get even more from their system.
If you are running Helios3, you can now log in to the Zone Laser Support portal and select Helios3 System Upgrade. Processing this update onto your system will unlock 8 colour support, along with a range of quality of life improvements across maintenance, and pack controls.
All new Helios3 systems will also ship with these features included.

What’s Included in This Helios3 Upgrade?
The current update adds support for 8 colours, giving operators more flexibility in game design and team setups.

More Free Updates Are Coming
This is not a one-off update.
We are preparing more substantial free system improvements for Helios3, including further upgrades connected to maintenance, pack intelligence, themes, and operator tools.
To make sure your venue is ready, please ensure your system is running the latest version of
O-Zone. Upcoming releases may require your system to be fully updated before they can be applied.
A Long-Term Commitment to Zone operators
Zone has a long history of supporting clients well beyond the initial system install. With now almost 40 years of experience keeping laser tag working for our clients.
A great example of this was the release of our free social distancing features, during the covid times which helped operators adapt quickly when they needed it most.
Another example is our ongoing support for Helios PRO, a system first released in 2013. More than a decade later, Helios PRO systems can still be updated to run new Zone hardware, unlocking access to more than 200 new features through an upgrade from Windows to O-Zone.
That is the Zone approach: wherever possible, we continue improving existing systems so customers can keep growing without needing to start again.
How to Update Your Helios3 System
To access the latest Helios3 update:
- Log in to the Zone Laser Support portal at zonelasersupport.com
(If you don't have an account, create one following the prompts)
- Go to Shop and select Licences
- Select Helios3 System Upgrade
- Process the update onto your system
- Make sure your venue is also running the latest version of O-Zone
If you are unsure whether your system is fully up to date, or if you need help with the process, please contact your local Zone support team.
Please note this update can take up to 48 Hours, as it requires some manual processes on ourside!
Running Helios PRO on windows?
If you are still running a Helios PRO system on Windows, contact your local support team to arrange an O-Zone update.
This update allows compatible Helios PRO systems to run new Zone hardware and unlock more than 200 new features, helping older systems keep pace with the latest Zone technology.
This update requires new Hardware, as O-Zone Replaces your current windows computers to O-ZONE control hardware so there is a small cost involved in migration. There are some optional other changes you can do hardware wise to update your system to improve reliability if you want to at the same time.
